About J3 Shirts
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple - take issues that matter and put them on shirts that people will wear! The idea came from seeing so many people wearing t-shirts with a brand name on it: Nike, Calvin Klein, Reebok, etc., etc. Why are people paying to be walking billboards - buying shirts that simply advertise the company that made the shirt? If you're going to advertise something on your shirt, why not promote a cause that matters, instead of the company you already paid money to? Of course, having a good design on your shirt is paramount and that's what we're trying to focus on: creating compelling shirt designs with a good message!
J3 Shirts was created as a way to support these causes directly. We have backgrounds in design and business development so we decided to use these skills to make a difference in a more direct, hopefully more beneficial manner. We make a little from each shirt sale (for hosting & beer) but most of the up-charge on the shirts ($3) goes to the nonprofit causes that we support. We want to make the most difference possible with our time and effort.
About Us
Jasper J. Jones, is the guy who put this idea in motion and the brains behind the operation. He is actively involved in several causes and devotes most of his time towards promoting Single Payer Healthcare and Renewable Sources of Energy, especially Wind & Solar.
Aaron Day is the designer guy who is designing these shirts in his spare time. He is the creative director at Peak Systems.
